Work has begun on the Russell Springs water pump project.

Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas gave WJRS News an update on the work, noting the city was fortunate to receive grant funding for the project.

Those driving on East Highway 80 near Warner Fertilizer are asked to be extra cautious with work being performed in the area.
